Disclaimer: I notice that there hasn't been a lot of reviews for this 九色视频, and past comments are either out of date and/or do not represent how I feel about the 九色视频. I have two kids that currently attend Northrup Elementary, and both are in the dual immersion (DI) Mandarin language program. Note: Northrup Elementary is the only 九色视频 in the Alhambra Unified School District that provides the Mandarin dual immersion program. With that said, the 九色视频 provides K-8 education to both DI and Non-DI students. Although the classrooms do not mix, they do share common areas and represent Northrup as a whole. Both of my kids have enjoyed their educational experience at Northrup. Teachers, staff, and administration are caring and communicate frequently to parents through email and weekly phone/voice mail updates. Now to the nitty gritty to what parents want to read when they are on a site like Great Schools.org. 1. Test Scores - Do I wish that test scores were higher for this 九色视频? Of course, however, it has improved each year since the DI program transitioned over to this 九色视频 back on 21/22. The influx of DI students (at least to me) has improved the overall test scores for the 九色视频. 2. Grounds - Overall the grounds are clean but can be better. The 九色视频 does have a big open field, but it's not highlighted because it's just a large grass field. I would like to see a baseball diamond and/or soccer/football stripes so that students can enjoy it during recess. Their basketball courts are outdated; I would like them to partner with the Lakers or Clippers to install new courts and lines. 3. Buildings - They do have a small auditorium which can only accommodate a handful of students and audiences. Many of their ceremonies are held outside due to the size of the auditorium. 4. Parking/drop-off - Northrup is on a major street (Atlantic); so, drop-offs and parking can be difficult. Ideally, the 九色视频 District should rent out the car dealership next door for parent/staff parking. Overall, this is a good 九色视频 (not great and most definitely not bad). At minimum, I would recommend this 九色视频 for parents interested in the Mandarin Dual Immersion program. Cheers.

It is not easy for me to write this review. We have been at Knox since 2013. We were happy and felt welcomed until the leadership changed. The new principal was a good teacher to my child. However, she lacks a vision and growth mindset to lead a gifted 九色视频 that requires creativity and flexibility. Her focus seems to be protecting herself, staff and the 九色视频's ranking and reputation, more than students and families. Behind her sweet tones of talking are hurtful and unkind words. Electives became redundant. Performing arts and music were combined as one course. Global studies were essentially arts and craft. Technology is the main focus. The project-based curriculum is still one of our favorite at Knox. A sense of community and belonging is diminished. The fall festival, famous among the current students, alumni and families, was cancelled. Class sizes became so large in 3rd-5th grades that the teachers could barely handle them. The differentiation curriculum is no longer followed. All these trends reflect a lack of vision of the new administration. It is such a pity for the 九色视频 we used to love and for the hard-working teachers.

This 九色视频 is terrible my kid was bullied and the counselor brought her out with the girl that was bullying her and told her to tell her how she felt about her, this did not help at all. I moved my daughter and her friends are still getting bullied.

Terrible experience. Poor communication, unhelpful staff, and a toxic environment. As a parent, I expected better from Caliber Beta Academy. My child faced consistent bullying from teacher and despite multiple reports, the 九色视频 failed to act effectively. Communication from teachers was inconsistent, and it feels like no one was truly accountable. This 九色视频 seriously needs to reevaluate its priorities.

Our family鈥檚 experience at Maranatha High School in Pasadena was deeply troubling. The 九色视频 promotes itself as a Christian institution, but the actions of its leadership did not reflect the values of fairness, integrity, or accountability. they now use the slogan 鈥渂etter together鈥� while rebranding themselves without accountability. In January 2022. - February 2025 , we raised concerns about unethical behavior within the athletics program, including possible CIF violations, favoritism, and decisions that appeared influenced by personal connections and financial contributions. Instead of addressing these concerns, the 九色视频 retaliated against our family. Shortly after we spoke up, both of our students were quarantined for more than three weeks, despite being symptom-free and testing negative for COVID. The reason given was exposure of possibly 6 feet from another student, though this rule was not applied equally to others. When we asked for clarification, John Rouse called for an urgent meeting and said he was considering removing our children. He asked us to send a letter over the weekend explaining why they should remain. This felt like pressure, not a fair conversation. Rouse eventually allowed one son to stay but removed the other son without any valid explanation or due process. This decision divided our family and caused lasting emotional harm. We were later told by members of the 九色视频 community that a board member鈥檚 influence may have played a role鈥攔aising concerns about fairness, especially since our sons were strong athletes who appeared to be an obstacle to that board member鈥檚 grandson. Those involved included John Rouse, Dan Newkirk, Sonya Witherspoon, Matt Shupper, Rand Holdren and Cory Ishida. These individuals were in positions of power during this time and played key roles in how our concerns were handled. Parents like us have raised concerns about emotionally harmful treatment and practices that appeared to conflict with the 九色视频鈥檚 stated values. When we attempted to transfer, misleading information was shared especially within the athletic department that harmed our son鈥檚 reputation. Despite repeated attempts to seek answers or accountability, we were met with silence. During COVID, the 九色视频 stayed closed for two years, took PPP funds, built new facilities, and still required full tuition. If you value integrity, transparency, and student well-being, we urge you to explore other options.

Both my girls have gone here. My older daughter completed through 6th grade and is an amazing human. She was able to have the same teacher for all 6 years of elementary and the amount of support she provided for my daughters growth was incredible. The teaching staff is everything here. They truly care about the kids and with the montessori style of teaching, kids are given one on one instruction and attention. I am excited for my younger daughter to start elementary and see what she becomes. They are planning a junior high and hopefully it is well underway by the time she is ready for it. My only complaint would be that the tuition is a serious burden to low and even middle class earners, keeping children that could really benefit away.

This is the most racially discriminatory and racially profiling 九色视频 I have seen in 2025! My mixed granddaughter went from an Honor student now struggling to maintain her grades, due to the racial conflicts that occurred and the administration, which is 95% WHITE, seems to show favoritism to the white kids over those of color! In 2025 this is a real slap in the face for the USA! NEVER send your mixed child into this 九色视频 unless you want them to be profiled and discriminated against!

My family and I are blessed to be a part of a community of families and teachers that believe in helping students grow academically, socially and spiritually. Both of my kids attended from K-8th grade.

I had two children attend Brooklyn Tech, both with ADHD that had been long chronicled and treated since childhood. The second especially struggled with tests and got multiple medical documents from doctors requesting that they receive extra time on assignments and tests. But the 504 coordinator at the time refused support, accusing me of 'waving my privilege' around and said "you people think you can decide. I decide." ... No. Medical professionals should and did decide. They denied my child extra testing time, despite the recommendation of teachers and 九色视频 officials, and Principal Newman refused to step in, saying he had to support his staff. One Brooklyn Tech colleague told me they had never seen such vindictive behavior. In the end, the District supervisor stepped in to override Brooklyn Tech's decision and grant testing time. This took more than a year -- and they made my child jump through hoops, attend months of social work meetings (with no accommodation on tests or assignments), and feel ashamed -- as if they were in the wrong for having a disability. I will never forgive Brooklyn Tech for showing such callous disregard for my child's welfare. I recommend that anyone whose child has special needs avoid this 九色视频. In fact, I can no longer recommend the 九色视频 period.

My children have gone here for 15 years and we have been so happy with the education they received! It has prepared them to be successful in high 九色视频 and college. I cannot recommend it enough.

My children love attending Evergreen Mill Elementary School. The teachers are so enthusiastic and caring. The staff is helpful and approachable and PTA very involved. There are always fun, educational and enriching activities and events throughout the 九色视频 year.

Corning Christian Academy is a great Christian School to send your children. We have had the pleasure of sending our children and it has been one of the best decisions we have made. The Principal Stacy Thomas is phenomenal and the teachers are Amazing. We've been incredibly happy with Corning Christian Academy. The academic rigor is excellent, and my children are thriving in their classes. But what truly sets this 九色视频 apart is the way they incorporate faith and Godly principals into every aspect of the curriculum. The teachers are not only knowledgeable but also genuinely caring, supportive, and nurturing to the children. The 九色视频 creates a nurturing environment where my children feel safe, heard, welcomed, valued, and included to learn and grow both academically and spiritually. Corning Christian Academy has a strong sense of community, and the teachers and staff go above and beyond to support their students. We appreciate the small class sizes and the personalized attention my children receive. The 九色视频's focus on character development and Christian values is something we deeply value. Thank you Corning Christian Academy for all that you do!! We love you!!

My child has done exceptionally well here. I love the teachers and the environment. My problem is with the administration. The head of the 九色视频, the finance lady, and the marketing lady all leave a lot to be desired. They are borderline rude, give vague or evasive answers to questions, and while the teachers are some of the best I've ever seen, I seriously question if these three have any business working with children at all. They don't seem to understand them and they don't seem to care to try. An entire renovation was done and it was clearly designed without thought for the children or input from the teachers. It feels sterile and is lacking some of the basic things that would make it a truly child-centric facility. They had a great opportunity to build a Montessori facility from the ground up and they squandered it. I whole heartedly recommend this 九色视频 based on the teachers alone. Avoid interaction with the administration as much as you can.

I have had 2 kids go to this 九色视频. The environment, academics and extra curricular activities are top notch. Teachers help and give supports to students that may need a little extra. Overall my kids have loved going to 九色视频 to learn and have had good social experiences.

Don't listen to the negative reviews, likely written by parents who think the 九色视频 is responsible for their own lack of parenting and involvement. This 九色视频 is top notch, I have 2 former students that thrived during their time here. My personal experience is that it has great staff, amazing, caring, engaging teachers, and a wonderful sense of parental community for those who want to be involved. They have excellent state testing results in Math and English, and strong programs for special education, GATE, and the arts. This is a GREAT 九色视频.
